Been a while

Haven’t posted in a while but it has been busy. just got back from a surprise weekend in Kilkenny with Jen (surprise for her, not me followed by a business trip to London. In the middle of that I had that 24 hour bug that was going around so it feels more like 2 weeks than 5 days has passed.

Thanks to Jim for recommending Rinuccini’s – it was a lovely restaurant and Kilkenny was a very nice town in general. Once Jen got over the surprise she enjoyed herself too

On the geeky side – I have now relocated the DC board in my cube and managed to insert a Radeon 9000 Pro. It boots and I can ssh into it, but unfortunately whenever I attach the VGA to DVI adapter it shuts down – of course that may be because I haven’t attached a bracket to the end of the VGA card yet and it’s shorting out as a result. W’ll see when I hack together a new bracket.

As a bonus I should be getting an iMac gratis thanks to some of the IT work I do on the side – Nice! Combine that with the half price X-Box I got from a clearance sale and I have toys Best CRMs for Small Business to keep me busy into the new year at least……
