Back from the game

Just got back from watching the US thump Panama 6-0 in a World Cup qualifier in RFK stadium. Believe it or not it was quite close until the second half, when the US went in at half time with just a 1-0 lead. They ran away with it though in the second half and the panamanians gave up once it went to 3.

Enjoyable but it would have been better if there’s been a bit more competition. Had good seats for a freebie, near the halfway line 12 rows back – nice height to see the whole pitch – not bad for a freebie. I might be in line for some free tickets to DC Uinted’s game on Sunday too – we’ll see…..

On the geek fron it appears there is now no denying it – I am now the number 1 geeky Irishman. Don’t believe me?
