West Coast Adventures

I mentioned last time that I would talk about our recent travels. We were orginally going to head to New Orleans but of course a little hurricane known as Katrina got in the way of those plans. So, with refund in hand we booked two tickets to Las Vegas and booked some rooms in the Luxor. Have to say that Las Vegas is pretty cool – giant margaritas, roller coasters, gambling, showgirls, brunch at the Bellagio and (of course) gambling…….what’s not to like?

Well there’s the price, but that’s what credit cards are for 😉

Next up is San Francisco where we will be visiting Luke first and seeing the sights before we rent a car and drive up the coast to Seattle where Matt and Ruth (okay the second link is a joke) will be cooking us som Turkey for Thanksgiving. We might give thema break from us for a day or two by hopping across the border to Vancouver – though that isn’t finalised just yet.
