Dr Dremo’s Psychotronic Prizes

For those of you who don’t know, we tend to frequent the Washington Psychotronic Film Society’s (extremely weird) screenings in Dr. Dremo’s on Tuesday nights. They screen what are usually the worst films known to man. They are so bad, they are good (if you know what I mean) and occasionally they show some brilliant animated shorts.

In addition to the fine films, you get a ticket (for $2) that puts you in the hat to win the door prizes. Someone from our group usually wins, and I’ve walked away with the prize no less than 4 times. While not a patch on the Happy Tree Friend soft toy that Ruth won, the latest two are pictured below (click for bigger pic):

The “Toxic Teddy” is pretty disturbing I think, and the brain glows (cool!) so I tried to capture it in low-light conditions too (again click for bigger pic):
